01Why it's worth it
Right at Pacifica, Mori Point rises off the coast in bluffs and grassy hills threaded with trails, a small GGNRA pocket that packs a lot into a short footprint: ocean cliffs, a boardwalk over ponds that shelter endangered red-legged frogs and garter snakes, and a steep little climb to a headland with big coast views both directions. It links to the Pacifica beaches and the coast trail, so you can build a proper walk out of it. It's neither remote nor secret, but it's scenic and easy to reach, the kind of quick-hit coastal beauty that rewards pulling over instead of driving through Pacifica on the way to somewhere else.
02How to experience it
Park near the Pacifica pier or the Mori Point access off Highway 1 and take the trails up to the headland; the loop with the pond boardwalk is the move. It's windy and often foggy, so layer up. Combine it with the Nike site on Milagra Ridge nearby.
